What's new for you at Piano Plus?

This brand new year marks the beginning of a few new happenings at my teaching studio. First, there’s a new name. What was formerly Scott’s Piano Studio is now Piano Plus Teaching Studio because it’s piano instruction and so much more.

You’ll also find a new learning concentration for motivated students (piano and non-piano) who like to experiment with and create their own music. I designed this “Project Studio Track,” to teach students of all ages about making music through collaborative playing, composing and recording experiences.

In addition, the website’s blog page will cover a variety of topics – some of which will feature current student and teacher projects. In these cases, I’ll be sharing our own learning experiences throughout the different stages of the music-making process. In this way, online visitors will have a chance to get a big picture view of what we do here at Piano Plus. Watch how we work and listen to the music!

Of course I’ll be continuing to offer the “Piano Lessons Track” as well. This kind of tailored instruction is especially popular with students who are primarily interested in playing for their own enjoyment.

So now students have more options and opportunities for making great music – all happening in a fun, relaxed learning environment. Are you curious to learn more? Explore the website and contact me today with any questions or feedback. Happy music-making!
